Shy Guy is the first boss in Lemmy the Hermit. He is the first boss fought in the game.
Background
In the level The Potted Ghost's Castle from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, two Shy Guys attempt to assist Roger the Potted Ghost (the boss of the level) by pushing on his pot to make it harder for Yoshi to push Roger off the edge of his platform, to no avail.
In Battle
Shy Guy's strategy is pushing Mario off the platform using a pillar. He has two Boos assisting him, in case Mario attempts to push back.
Tactics
As long as the player steadily pushes on the pillar, Shy Guy should eventually fall off the platform. Make sure to hold down the run button when pushing on the pillar.
